ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Educational and Research Programs in Biology and the Brown University School of Medicine are grouped administratively togetherinto a single Division. The Division contains five basic science departments comprising the Program in Biology that teach undergraduate, graduate and basic medical science courses and thirteen clinical departments that teach medical students and offer postgraduate medical training. Faculty in a number of the Departments are part of the Brain Science Program (Neuroscience, Psychiatry, Clinical Neuroscience, Molecular Microbiology & Immunology, and Molecular Pharmacology, Physiology & Biotechnology).
