ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Brown University has offered graduate degrees in psychology since 1892 and has been home to a number of pioneers in experimental psychology, including some of the nation's earliest investigators in EEG studies. Over the years, Brown's psychology faculty has built a solid reputation for research in sensory psychology and animal learning and congition. The Department of Psychology has supported a number of successful interdisciplinary centers within the University.
